Externship and Preceptorship Opportunities

NEVHC partners with a variety of universities and training programs to provide hands-on learning experiences for future healthcare professionals.

Preceptorships allow trainees already enrolled in programs leading to licensure, such as medical, nurse practitioner and physician assistant students, to work closely with NEVHC providers. You’ll gain hands-on learning opportunities and refine your clinical skills while making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Externships give medical assistant and nursing students the chance to learn alongside NEVHC’s clinical support staff. Trainees participate directly in patient care while building essential skills.
