ATTENTION My Health LA members: When the pharmacy is closed and you have an immediate need to fill a prescription, please contact MHLA member service at (877) 333-4952.

The number of refills remaining on your prescription is printed on the bottom left hand corner of the label on your medication vial.

If you have refills remaining on your prescription, please allow 24 hours to refill an order that is placed through the Pharmacy Refill Line. If you order a prescription but are out of refills, we will contact your medical provider for authorization. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing. You will receive 3 reminder calls when your prescriptions are ready to be picked up. Sometimes you may be required to make an appointment to see your provider before we can refill your medication. You will receive a call from one of our nurses if this is the case.

As soon as you finish with your medical appointment, call or stop by the pharmacy to let us know you need your prescription filled. Your prescription will be processed in the order it is received. If you pick up your medication at your health center and not at the NEVHC Pharmacy, we will automatically fill your prescription for you and send it to your health center. If you have any questions, please call us at (818) 270-9279.

Prescriptions that are not picked up within 10 days will be returned to the pharmacy stock. Please plan to pick up your prescriptions as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary waiting or reprocessing.

Please have your NEVHC clinic ID card and insurance card (if applicable) with you every time you visit the pharmacy. The pharmacy may require you to present a picture ID when you pick up controlled substance prescriptions.

We offer many assistance programs that may help with the cost of medications. All patients are screened for these programs and we will help you fill out any necessary forms. If you do not qualify for a no-cost program, we offer a sliding fee scale that is based on your ability to pay. You may be asked to fill out applications and provide income records for medications that you receive through a Patient Assistance Program (PAP). This information must be turned in as soon as possible. Our pharmacy staff will assist you in filling out any necessary forms.
