What is the I Support You Campaign?
For over two decades, NEVHC’s ‘I Support You’ (ISU) fundraising campaign has empowered our staff to spearhead initiatives impacting patient health and wellness. Our generous ISU donors fuel diverse programs to enhance patient care, providing support and illuminating hope. Every contribution directly supports this year’s ISU initiatives, encompassing areas such as Women’s and Children’s Health, Early Literacy, Homelessness and Health Monitoring.

Breathe Easy Asthma
Help reduce emergency room visits by providing safe household products to asthmatic patients
45 is the new 50: Colorectal Cancer Screening
Help patients detect colon cancer sooner by mailing screening kits directly to their door
Cuddles of Love
Support expectant mothers by gifting new baby clothing and strollers
Homeless Hygiene Kits
Provide hope and improve the well-being of patients experiencing homelessness – help purchase hygiene products, sleeping bags, snacks and more
Reach out and Read
Provide a book to a child to help improve early childhood literacy and improve the bond between parent and child
WIC Breastfeeding Support
Support NEVHC WIC mothers in breastfeeding longer by helping purchase breastfeeding bras and aprons

Northeast Valley Health Corporation was incorporated in 1971 by a group of San Fernando Valley civic leaders who envisioned establishing a healthcare system that catered to the medical needs of the local community. They opened San Fernando Health Center in 1973 and celebrated its dedication with the late U.S. Senator Ted. Kennedy. Today, NEVHC has grown to 14 health centers in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys and continue to serve the uninsured and the medically underserved patients with limited financial resources. Nearly 70,000 patients receive medical, dental and behavioral health care at our health centers every year. NEVHC, one of the nation’s largest community health centers, is a nonprofit Joint Commission accredited Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
