My Health LA (MHLA) is a no-cost health care program for people who live in Los Angeles County.
Who can apply?
LA County residents who are age 26 and older and whose family meets certain income levels can apply.
How much will I pay?
My Health LA is free to individuals and families who do not have and cannot get health insurance.
When can I apply?
Enrollment for My Health LA is available year round.
What documents do I need to apply?
The following documents are needed for every applicant:
• Proof of income current within 45 days (one full month’s paystubs, taxes, income verification form, etc.) • Proof of Identification (DMV ID, consular ID, school ID, etc.) • Proof of Address – current within 60 days (utility bill, rental agreement, letter addressed to applicant, etc.)
