Medi-Cal is free or low-cost health coverage for children and adults with limited income and resources. Medi-Cal covers low-income adults, families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, children in foster care as well as former foster youth up to age 26, and pregnant women.
To apply for Medi-Cal, you will need the following documents for applicant, spouse, partner and/or children:

My Health LA (MHLA) is a no-cost health care program for people who live in Los Angeles County. It is for people who are age 19 and older and whose family meets certain income levels. MHLA is free to individuals and families who do not have and cannot get health insurance.
To apply for MHLA, you will need the following documents for everyone applying for the program:
- Proof of Income – current within 45 days (one full month’s paystubs, taxes, self-declaration affidavit, etc.)
- Proof of Identification (DMV ID, consular ID, school ID, etc.)
- Proof of Address – current within 60 days (utility bill, rental agreement, letter addressed to applicant, etc.)

Offering dental services enhances NEVHC’s ability to continue its mission of providing high quality health care to local residents with particular attention to the medically underserved and low-income populations who may not have otherwise been able to see a dentist.
