Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) is a preventive program that delivers periodic health assessments and services to low income children and youth in California. CHDP provides care coordination to assist families with medical appointment scheduling, transportation, and access to diagnostic and treatment services.
Every Woman Counts
Every Woman Counts (EWC) provides free breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services to California’s underserved populations. The mission of EWC is to save lives by preventing and reducing the devastating effects of cancer for Californians through public and provider education, early detection, diagnosis, case management, and integrated preventive services.
Family PACT
Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) program is California’s innovative approach to provide comprehensive family planning services to eligible low income (under 200% federal poverty level) men and women. Family PACT serves 1.6 million income eligible men and women of childbearing age through a network of 2,400 public and private providers. Services include comprehensive education, assistance, and services relating to family planning.
Ryan White Program
Ryan White offers full medical coverage for people with HIV or AIDS. Individual income must be at or below 500% federal poverty level. No legal residency requirements, you must live in L.A. County, not have health insurance, and if eligible, have applied for Medi-Cal.
Title X
Title X in provides funding to health care providers and community-based organizations throughout California to deliver core family planning and preventive services, and link individuals to the health care and information they need to support their reproductive goals and optimal health outcomes.
