Dr. Park received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology (emphasis in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) from the University of California, Berkeley. Following her graduation from UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Park completed her Pediatric Internship and Combined Pediatrics and Public Health Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Public Health (emphasis in Community Health Sciences). She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Certified Lactation Educator. Since 2003, Dr. Park has been an NEVHC pediatrician. Theresa “Missy” Nitescu is the Chief Operations Officer for Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC), a non-profit, Joint Commission accredited (PCMH certified) federally qualified health center (FQHC) with 15 licensed primary care sites serving the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. With over 30 years of experience in health care administration, Ms. Nitescu oversees all aspects of ambulatory care operations including designing and overseeing construction of all new NEVHC health centers. Previously, she worked for the NEVHC WIC Program as the nutrition education director, was a clinical dietitian for Mission Community Hospital, and a program manager for CA Project LEAN (Los Angeles Region) for California State University, Northridge. Patricia Moraga, NEVHC’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), provides fiscal oversight to ensure that the organization meets its fiscal goals. Ms. Moraga has been the CFO of NEVHC since 1990. Prior to her position with NEVHC, she held the position of Senior Auditor for the CPA firm Vasquez and Company, and also worked as a Revenue Agent for the IRS at the Van Nuys office.
