This week we join community health centers (CHCs) across the nation to celebrate National Health Center Week (NHCW) and commemorate our mission accomplishments. NHCW provides us with a great opportunity to raise awareness to our Members of Congress about our need for their support. We need your help to urge our Members of Congress to support funding for CHC capital improvements and increased discretionary funding in this year’s appropriation cycle.
Federal infrastructure funding and increased discretionary funding will allow us to do the following:
• Expand our facilities and services to meet our growing demand.
• Hire additional providers to continue providing quality healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
• Continue and expand innovative services such as Medical Assisted Program and our clinical pharmacist who helps our most medically sensitive patients.
