ABOUT NORTHEAST VALLEY HEALTH CORPORATION
For over 50 years, Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) has provided safe, high-quality medical, dental and behavioral health services to medically underserved communities in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. Since our founding, we have continued to carry on the mission established by a group of community leaders who strived to provide a dependable healthcare resource for residents in northern Los Angeles County. Their vision for a healthier community continues to thrive more than 50 years later.
We have 18 health centers where we serve over 83,000 patients annually, and we serve over 37,000 monthly participants at our eight Women, Infants and Children (WIC) sites. We also proactively connect patients to social and economic community support services to help address the barriers that may impact a patient’s health outcome.
Our patient-centered approach ensures that every individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

Northeast Valley Health Corporation was incorporated in 1971 by a group of San Fernando Valley civic leaders who envisioned establishing a healthcare system that catered to the medical needs of the local community. They opened San Fernando Health Center in 1973 and celebrated its dedication with the late U.S. Senator Ted. Kennedy. Today, NEVHC has grown to 14 health centers in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys and continue to serve the uninsured and the medically underserved patients with limited financial resources. Nearly 70,000 patients receive medical, dental and behavioral health care at our health centers every year. NEVHC, one of the nation’s largest community health centers, is a nonprofit Joint Commission accredited Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
