We believe that strong communities begin with trusted, accessible health care. As the populations of the West San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys grow, so does the need for high-quality care. We’re proud to continue building on our mission by expanding access to primary health services for those who need it most.
To meet the increasing healthcare needs of our communities, we’re opening our new Reseda Health Center and expanding our current Santa Clarita Health Center! These new spaces will allow us to improve healthcare services, serve more patients and ensure underserved community members have a trusted medical home.
This new, state-of-the-art, 13,200 sq ft facility will allow us to serve a greater number of patients with a broader range of services, advancing health equity and strengthening public health infrastructure.
Scope of Project:
Securing an additional 7,703 sq ft of adjacent space, the Santa Clarita Health Center will be nearly double in size. This project will provide the capacity to offer comprehensive services in a newly modernized, patient-centered facility.
Scope of Expansion:
Offering primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, dentistry, podiatry and behavioral health services, the Reseda Health Center is projected to:
Serve 22,000 new patients
Provide 40,000 additional clinical visits
Offering comprehensive primary care, including medical exams, counseling and support services, the expanded Santa Clarita Health Center is projected to:
Serve 7,000 new patients
Provide 15,000 additional clinical visits

Northeast Valley Health Corporation was incorporated in 1971 by a group of San Fernando Valley civic leaders who envisioned establishing a healthcare system that catered to the medical needs of the local community. They opened San Fernando Health Center in 1973 and celebrated its dedication with the late U.S. Senator Ted. Kennedy. Today, NEVHC has grown to 14 health centers in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys and continue to serve the uninsured and the medically underserved patients with limited financial resources. Nearly 70,000 patients receive medical, dental and behavioral health care at our health centers every year. NEVHC, one of the nation’s largest community health centers, is a nonprofit Joint Commission accredited Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
