It may have been a caring doctor who walked alongside you on your journey to wellness, a referral staff member who connected you to specialty services, or perhaps it was a nurse’s hug that eased your child’s fear. There are dozens of ways that staff at Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) make a difference in our patients’ lives, and patients are often inspired to give back. That’s why we created the Patients Helping Patients Giving Program, a program that allows patients and their families to give back to the community and help others receive exceptional care.
Every staff member at NEVHC shares the same goal – to make you and your loved ones feel safe and cared for. Make a financial gift to honor a healthcare worker, health center and strengthen our community’s health.

Northeast Valley Health Corporation was incorporated in 1971 by a group of San Fernando Valley civic leaders who envisioned establishing a healthcare system that catered to the medical needs of the local community. They opened San Fernando Health Center in 1973 and celebrated its dedication with the late U.S. Senator Ted. Kennedy. Today, NEVHC has grown to 14 health centers in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys and continue to serve the uninsured and the medically underserved patients with limited financial resources. Nearly 70,000 patients receive medical, dental and behavioral health care at our health centers every year. NEVHC, one of the nation’s largest community health centers, is a nonprofit Joint Commission accredited Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
