- Behavioral Health Services: It is important to care for your emotional and mental health during this challenging time. If you are experiencing stress, anxiety or depression, do not struggle alone. Call our mental health hotline at (818) 270-9740 to make an appointment or talk to somebody who can help. Telephone appointments are available and all services are confidential.

It has been difficult for us all to change our daily routines, but everyone’s efforts to stay at home, wash their hands and practice social distancing are paying off. We are filled with hope for the future and energized to continue caring for our patients through telephone visits, in our health centers and through our WIC services.
Rest assured that our health centers continue to follow all guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Los Angeles Department of Public Health to keep our patients safe when they visit us. If you have visited a community testing site and tested positive for COVID-19, please call our appointment hotline to receive follow-up care from your primary care provider over a telephone visit.
Thank you for your support. Together, we are moving forward toward a brighter tomorrow.

Dear NEVHC Patient,
The health and safety of our patients are NEVHC’s highest priorities as we meet the challenges presented by coronavirus. This pandemic has affected every aspect of our daily lives, and our hearts go out to those members of our community who have experienced hardship and loss due to coronavirus.
We are carefully monitoring the spread of coronavirus in Los Angeles County. Our health and dental centers continue to provide essential health services in a safe environment that follow the standards from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Los Angeles Department of Public Health. We now offer telephone visits for non-urgent health care services. We are also taking extra steps to protect your health when you come to visit us at the health centers. These steps include spending more time cleaning and disinfecting our sites, screening every patient that visits us for symptoms of respiratory illness and providing face covers or masks to patients and our staff.
Regardless of the challenges presented by coronavirus, we are taking actions to make our health centers a safe place where you can get the health care services that you need.
Due to new guidance from the CDC and LA County’s Department of Public Health, we have made a few changes to our health center operations to protect your health and the health of our most vulnerable community members.
- Cloth Face Covers/Masks: LA County residents are now required to wear a cloth face covering or mask when outside the home. In light of this update, face masks are required when you visit any NEVHC location. For information on making a face mask or covering, visit our COVID-19 Resources Portal.
- Non-Essential Visitors at NEVHC: In order to protect our patients and staff, we ask that all patients avoid bringing visitors with them to appointments. Children and adult patients with caregivers may be accompanied by one individual.
- In-person services: Urgent health services that cannot be provided through a telephone visit are still offered at our health centers. We offer in-person services for emergency dental, women’s health and pediatrics for services such as pre/post-natal care, STI testing, newborn and well-child exams. Contact the appointment hotline or your local health center to learn what options are available to you.
- Home Isolation Instructions: Our local and state health officials believe that LA County will experience a surge of coronavirus cases in the coming weeks. If you have become sick with suspected or confirmed coronavirus, you can find guidance on caring for your health at home here and guidance for managing respiratory symptoms here. You can also call your local health center to get advice over the phone from a licensed nurse or provider.
- Testing Positive for Coronavirus: If you were tested for coronavirus at a community testing site and received a positive test result, please schedule a telephone visit with your primary care provider to receive follow-up care. You can schedule an appointment for a telephone visit by calling our appointment hotline at (818) 270-9777 or (661) 705-2040 or by contacting your local health center.
Our local communities have shown that we are strongest when we work as a team. We will continue to provide regular updates and new resources through our COVID-19 Resources Portal.
NEVHC will also continue to update our operations in order to provide our patients with the highest quality of care in a safe environment. We thank you deeply for your patience and support and for choosing NEVHC as your health care provider.
Sincerely,
Northeast Valley Health Corporation

Dear NEVHC Patient,
The health and well-being of our patients has always been our highest priority at NEVHC. We continue to monitor the effects of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Los Angeles County, and we are closely following guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
In light of recent developments, we have made some changes to our health center operations in order to provide the best care in a safe environment.
Our health centers continue to provide essential health services for patients who require immediate medical attention. Non-urgent services are being rescheduled or managed through telephone visits with our medical providers and staff until we can resume in-person visits. Other services, such as referrals to specialists and prescription refills, are still available and can be managed over the phone. We encourage you to call your health center for these requests. To find your health center’s phone number, please visit this page.
Additionally, we have temporarily reduced services at our dental centers. At this time, we are only providing emergency services at Rainbow Dental, San Fernando Health Center and Transitions to Wellness, Van Nuys. To view hours of operation at these sites, please visit this page. If you experience a dental emergency, you may request an appointment by calling the dental appointment line at (818) 270-9555.
At NEVHC, we understand that health is impacted by several factors, such as employment, housing and access to nutritious foods. Many members of our community are experiencing job loss or reduction in work hours and need assistance accessing pubic benefits. Our organization has created a COVID-19 Resource Portal that provides direct links to resources related to employment, housing, health coverage, food assistance and education. Our local and state officials continue to expand these services for our community, and we will continue to update this page as new information becomes available. The COVID-19 Resource Portal will also provide the latest updates provided by our trusted health partners.
COVID-19 has impacted many aspects of our lives. However, we at NEVHC will continue to provide you with the high quality of service that you expect and deserve. As a community, we will face this public health challenge together.
We urge you to follow the “Safer At Home” order to help slow the spread of COVID-19. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, cough or trouble breathing, please call our appointment hotline at (818) 270-9777 or (661) 705-2040 before visiting a health center.
Our health care team is here to get you the help that you need. Thank you for your patience and support.
Sincerely,
Northeast Valley Health Corporation
